I made 2 cards with this moodboard. Created 2 mermaid themes cards.

Mermaid themed Cards

I watercolor the background with Winsor and Newton watercolor palette. Flicked some white spots with white mist. Stamped and pieced together the mermaid, plants and fishes.

For this card, I drew and hand cut the '"hole" in the diecut frame. Punched smaller holes with circle pouches.

"Borders" - Imaginarium Designs

Hi, today I want to share a layout that I made for Imaginarium Designs. This month we are focusing on Borders. I love all the border chipboards.

"Beautiful Smile"

"Beautiful Smile" Layout

Using Blue Ferns paper collections, I made this layout of my girl wearing a disposable rain coat in the Singapore Zoo. The raincoat is actually quite big for me that we have to fold u the sleeves and tie the bottom shorter. But oh.. she looks adorable in it.

For the background of layout, I spread texture paste over stencils. Stamped some flourishes with grey distress ink.

Using 2 chipboard borders (Moroccan and Paul borders) and Clock & Compass chipboards, I lined them "hanging down" under the photo. Also lined up the title chipboard in same way. Cut a portion of the Moroccan border chipboard on the bottom corner. Gessoed all chipboards partially and colored them with Twinkling H2O's watercolors and Colorarte Primary Elements. Added some Prima pebbles to create texture.

I flicked some inks and mists over the page and added half pearls randomly. Added Prima flowers too.

For the journaling strips, I wrote on scrap paper and ink the edges with distress ink and pop them with foam tape.

Off The Rails Scrapbooking Blog Hop

Hi, everyone. This month we at Off The Rails Scrapbooking are having a special blog hop. The theme is fun, bright and colorful.

You should be arriving from Elisa Ablett's blog: http://2crazycrafters.blogspot.sg/
If not, do go over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking for the complete list.

Here's what I have created:

"Magical Forest" Shadow Box

"Magical Forest"

I gesso the whole paper mache shadow box, adhered some twigs with heavy gel medium. Then I cover the box with sand texture paste, crackle paste (randomly) and watercolored with Ecoline Liquid Watercolors. Love how bright they are. I did put a coat of gesso wash over to dull the brightness abit. Sprayed some mists inside box to highlight the crevices and cracks. Then distress the edges with black soot distress ink.

"Magical Forest"

Stamped and adhered 2 fairies along with Prima flowers and resin mushrooms. Lastly I used 3D Jewel paint to create little glittering dots (like stars).

"Magical Forest"

Now, please hop over to Lynn Good's blog,  http://memoriesonthepage.blogspot.sg/2016/05/off-rails-blog-hop-6-may.html

Have fun hopping. Thanks for dropping by.
