June Moodboard Challenge - OTRS

Hi, everyone. This month of June, we are having a cool moodboard challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking.

Be inspired by the pictures or colours or a theme.
As an added extra we'd also like you to use multiple photos on your layout
or if creating a card of Off the Page project - we'd like you to use letters.

And here's what I have created:

"Magical Moment" Layout

Made this layout of our Korea trip 2 years ago. Our first Snowman we build. Not an easy feat. It looks more like a melting snowman.. but we had fun, especially my boy.

For the Imaginarium Designs chipboard title, I used Nuvo white Crystal Drop to create snow effects. Love it!!

Please do join us for the challenge. Have fun.

Thanks for dropping by.

Last Projects for Imaginarium Designs

Hi, everyone.. Christmas was over and New Year is just around the corner. Been quite busy and tired this year Christmas with 3 parties to go, decos to make etc and choir training for Christmas service. A busy and long 3 days... But it's fun and joyful tiredness!!

Today I just want to share 3 projects that I made for Imaginarium Designs on 23 December and also to say my goodbyes to Imaginarium Designs Design Team. I hate to say bye but I need to be more present for my kids in 2017 so I'm scaling back on my DT committments.

Here's what I have made for my last projects:

"Fairy Sweet"

"Happy Moments"

For more pictures and details of these 3 projects, do hop over to Imaginarium Designs to read about them.

Though I'm scaling back on my DT committments, I will still continue to craft now and then... need to go back to my crochet and other wip projects to finish them. Goal of 2017.

Thanks for dropping by.

Made a simple and sweet layout. Tore 2 pieces of patterned papers and pop up with foam tape. Stamped these cute Love Cynthia stamp images and colored with color pencils. And added them to the page.

To celebrate this awesome event, I have created this project using Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays in Canna Lily Burnt Orange, Opal Sea Oats and Magical Powders (Ramblin' Rose Pink & Screamin' Banshee Black) and Imaginarium Designs Chipboards.

"Beautiful Smile"

To create the background, I spread texture paste over stencils then misted with Lindy's Starburst Sprays (Opal Sea Oats & Canna Lily Burnt Orange).

For the swirl chipboards, I gesso it and painted with the Magical Powders (both Ramblin' Rose Pink & Screamin' Banshee Black)

For the title chipboard, I gesso it and paint with Lindy's Magical Powder Screamin' Banshee Black and ink edges with black soot distress ink. For the butterfly chipboard, I also gesso it and a light coat of mixture of Magical Powders (Ramblin' Rose Pink & Screamin' Banshee Black). Added crystals to it.

Mat all the papers and photos with black caradstock. Love how they pop out.

Hope you love my project. Now hop over to Caroline Elliam. Have fun.

"Strike A Pose"

Hi, everyone. This month at Imaginarium Designs we are creating Masculine Projects with chipboards.

"Strike A Pose"

"Strike A Pose" Layout

I created a not so masculine white themed layout of my boy tho. Was contemplating whether to leave out the flowers but decided to just add in to show that this picture is taken at Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve in Singapore.

"Strike A Pose" Layout

For the background, I spread texture paste over a stencil and distress ink over another stencil for the plants.

"Strike A Pose" Layout

I cut the chipboard rectangles into half, gesso over to resemble the wooden plank path in the photo. Painted the fence and title chipboards with acrylic paints. For the tiny star chipboards, I painted them gold and added glitter.

"Strike A Pose" Layout

Red is my boy's favourite color. So wanted to leave the page plain to make the red more outstanding. Love how my boy can pose in different postures so easily and readily. Everyone was always saying how obedient and well behaved my boy is.... oh well.. here you can see his cheeky side.. LOL...
