I made 2 cards with this moodboard. Created 2 mermaid themes cards.

Mermaid themed Cards

I watercolor the background with Winsor and Newton watercolor palette. Flicked some white spots with white mist. Stamped and pieced together the mermaid, plants and fishes.

April Moodboard - OTRS

Hi, everyone. This month at Off The Rails Scrapbooking, we are having a Color Bombing Moodboard Challenge.

And here's my take on the challenge:

"Color Bombing" Cards

"Color Bombing" Cards

I made 4 cards with as many colors as I can incorporate.

"Miss You, Friend" Card

Made this "Miss You, Friend" card for a school friend that I haven't met up for quite awhile. Hope she will like it. The blue flower is made by me using punches and adding colors with markers.

"Happy Birthday" Card

This is a shaker card. The whole card is diecut with Papertrey Ink dies. The banner is diecut from Lawn Fawn dies.

"Happy Birthday" Card

The "Happy Birthday" word is embossed with a embossing folder. I also brushed wink of stellar clear glitter over the words to make it "bling". Pop up the diecut frame with foam tape.

"Happy Birthday" Card

This is another card that I made for another friend who just celebrated her birthday. I love to layer my projects so for this card, I layer afew layers with foam tape to make them "pop".

For this month, I'm also sponsoring one prize for the challenge.

So do hop over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking and join us in our moodboard challenge. Have fun.

"Special Card Reveal"

This month we have a special card reveal at our blog here. I made 2 cards using this month's moodboard.

"Love" Card

"Love" Card

One is a easily put together card with stickers and diecut ephemera.

"Love" Card

"Love" Card - inside

For the inside of the card, I adhered a negative cut out that I saved from a scalloped edge frame diecut.

"Happily Ever After" Card

"Happily Ever After" Card

The other card is inspired by my mixed media canvas. So you can see the similarities in design and color. I painted the butterfly and ornament chipboards with black shimmery acrylic paint. But from the picture can't really see the shimmery.

Love Is In The Air

Hi, everyone. This month over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking, we are having a fabulous Red Valentine's theme.

So I made a Valentine's Day card for my hubby.

"Sending My Love"

"Sending My Love" Card

Pardon the blur and hazy photos. It had been raining non-stop for few days when I took them. A wet Chinese New Year for us in Singapore. I die cut the front and card base with Papertrey Ink Front & Center #1 Die. And punched the tiny hearts of front cover with Martha Stewart punch and pasted a red cardstock behind.

"Sending My Love" Card

Inside the card, I pasted a diecut scallop heart.

"Sending My Love" Card

For the front deco, I die cut and stamped the images on them with Papertrey Ink "Don't Forget To Write" Kit. You have to diecut first then stamp as the diecuts have embossed outlines to show you where to stamp the flowers. The word "Sending" is a die in the same kit. Love them!!!!

Love this ribbon bow diecut. It added the final touch to my card.

Hope you enjoy my sharing. Do hop over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking and join us in our February challenge. Have fun.

Christmas Cards!!

Hi, everyone. Time passes so fast. Dec 2016 has come. That means Christmas is just round the corner. So I made a set of 3 Christmas cards for Imaginarium Designs.

"Christmas Cards"

Christmas Cards 2016

Using red and white as the main colors, I rubbed chalk inks on white cardstock and pop them up with foam tape.

Christmas Cards 2016

Painted the chipboards with acrylic paints. Using a gold pen, I drew the string for the baubles chipboards. Diecut tiny wreath and bow with Papertreyink dies and adhered to 2nd card.

Christmas Cards 2016

Christmas Cards 2016

For the Christmas wreath, I bought a 2nd hand wood mounted stamp. But realised that the stamp is spoiled. There are 2 lines there that just won't stamp and the stamp out is rather faint. But I love this stamp. So I just use a Zig black pen and draw over the image, filling in the missing parts too.

Colored the image with colored pencils.

Cut out the wreath and pop up with foam tape.

Christmas Cards 2016

Added the Kerri Flourish chipboards on the wreath and added a diecut tiny bow.

Christmas Cards 2016

For all 3 cards, I used glitter glue to make random dots all over. Love the shimmering look.

Here's the chipboards I have used:

Hope you like my cards. Have a fun week.
