Hi, I just came back from a week's church camp cum holiday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its a fun and fulfilling church camp. Thanks to all the young adults who make the camp a fun one. & we also enjoyed ourselves at Kidzania, a themed park for kids. My kids love it so so much. I think we are going to plan another trip down again. :) I strongly recommend this theme park, Kidzania if anyone is going to Kuala Lumpur for a holiday. We bought some photos taken by professional photographers there. So ya... going to scrap about them.
Today at Off The Rails Scrapbooking, we are challenging you to make a project with the theme "Up, Up & Away". It can be anything related to it like balloons, butterfly, birds, airplane etc. I made a layout of our Sydney's trip a couple years ago. Its my kids' first airplane ride.
I used my newly bought vintage typewriter to type the words on the white cardstock as background details, scribbled some words and ink the background abit. Used Simple Stories papers for this layout. Love Simple Stories paper collection. For the arrows at the side, I punched the cardstock with Stamping Up punch and added papers behind. Its such a fast and simple layout with the use of Simple Stories stickers.
Look how excited and happy my kids are. Its their first airplane ride and our first ride on A380!!! And this plane is huge... There's a small empty space at the end of the plane where my kids love to go there and stretch themselves (the picture on the left). Plus there's a cookie counter there where I love to get some free cookies to munch on. hee... The seats are spacious and of course, it's movie marathon for me....
Well, holidays are always fun and exciting for me. I hope I can go travel again soon even though I just came back from a short one. Anyway, look forward to another short trip in September (our 10th wedding anniversary). For now, its back to reality!! Lol.
Well, I hope you are inspired to create and join in the challenge at Off The Rails Scrapbooking. Do hop over and join my blog candy here.
Thanks for visiting.
