Valentine's Day gift

I have to confess that I love celebrating Valentine's Day, even though I don't think I'm a romantic person. Ha ha.. contradicting, isn't it. Well, every year, I would plan way ahead of what to make for my dearest hubby. Like what I always say to him, every time I finished a gift for him, I will start to plan for next year's gift. BUT this year, I totally forgot to plan. Ha ha..

So on Valentine's Day morning, I started to panic!!! Oh no!!! ha ha..

It took me whole day (including half day of chatting with my sister on the phone) to finish this gift. Just as I was about to "hide" the gift in my scrapbook cabinet, my hubby returned home from work at 6pm. What perfect timing!!

Here's the last minute gift that me made for him:

I made the 2 white inserts when my hubby called home at 5pm. Can you imagine how panicked I am when received his call that he's coming back!! He knocked off very early yesterday!! Only got an hour to complete!!!

Love this box made using Front and Center #1 die from Papertrey Ink. The metal accents are all made by me. Its good that all these accents are already made some time ago. So I just grabbed a few and glued down on my project.

Here's a closer look:

Here's the back of the box:

And here's the overview again with the inserts:

Love the colours of white, teal and pink. These are my favourite colour combo. I find that I used this combo quite often. The pocket with insert(in middle) are actually digital collage. I just added the tab and metal flower.

Here's the detailed look:

The silver metal accent (with ribbon flowers) are made by me previously too. Phew!! Finally all are done and given to him. He loved it!! Ha ha.. Dun think he dare to say otherwise!!! ha ha.....

Hope you all enjoy this project as much as me. Thank you for visiting.
