Fun Times & Down By The Sea!

Hi everyone. Today over at Imaginarium Designs, I'm sharing 2 projects I made with ID chipboards. Do hop over to have a detailed look and more pictures.

Been sick for the past week and still nursing a throat inflammation, cough and inflamed eye. So writing this post in a blur state. LOL.

Made this  layout for our recent trip to Korea. Enjoyed the Korea trip very much. Been a few years since we really travel out (except for Church camps).

Made the boat, clay mermaid and fish net from scratch. Its so fun to diy on your own and more satisfaction. Its my first attempt to do all 3. Watched youtube videos on tutorials on how to do clay mermaid and the fish net. Got to admit that its not that easy especially when I'm using airdry resin clay. Have to complete the individual parts quickly before the clay dry up abit. Though I ended up with a fat mermaid (LOL), I'm happy with it. Learned how to blend the 2 colors of clay together too.

Hope you love my projects. Do hop over to Imaginarium Designs to read more and leave a comment to win a pack of chipboards. Have fun crafting.

"Valentine's Day Special"

Hi, everyone. Happy Valentine's Day to all. Today over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking, we have a special Valentine's Day DT reveal. All of us have made a project with this theme and are excited to share with you all.

Here's what I have made:

"Be Mine" Card

"Be Mine" Card

Made a mason jar shaped card with a diecut scalloped heart. The fox and mini heart tag is from Papertreyink kit. Love this sweet card. I pop up the fox's head, hands and the tiny heart with foam tape.

Hope you are inspired to make something for your loved one. Have a fun and lovely day. Do hop over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking and see what my fellow team mates have done. And do join us in our February moodboard challenge.

Doilies Love

Hi, everyone. It's my turn to share about my projects over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking. I love doilies and I decided to make 2 cards and a hanging ornament with diecut doilies. If you do not have any doilies dies, you can also use those doilies for baking.

Here's my projects:

"Congrats" Cards

Doilies Wedding Cards

"Pastel Doily Ornament"

Doily Hanging Ornament

Made this ornament for decorating my house for Chinese New Year that's coming on 9 February. Something very different from the normal red and gold decorations that Chinese love.

Do hop over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking to look at more pictures and details. I have also shared a tutorial over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking blog. Have fun.

Happy Chinese New Year to all who celebrate.

Imaginarium Designs - Postal Themed

Hi, everyone. This month, Imaginarium Designs are sponsoring an awesome challenge site, Kraft+. And the February Challenge is to go Postal!!

And I'm also guest designing for Kraft+. Here's what I have created:

"Hongdae" Layout

Created this layout to be like a parcel, ready to be delivered. Photos taken at our recent trip to Seoul, Korea.

"Hongdae" Layout

Used Tim Holtz kraft paper for the base. Diecut the Sizzix postcard and stamped with Purple Onions postal stamps.

"Hongdae" Layout

Colored the chipboard title, shapes with Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens.

"Hongdae" Layout

I used 2 negative chipboards shape from Nat's Pie Chart chipboard, colored with chalk inks and stamped swirls and handwrite the wordings to look like odd shaped postage stamps. Love them!!!!

OTRS - "Be your Own Kind Of Beautiful"

Hi, everyone. Another month have passed and it's time for a new challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking. This month we have 2 mood boards for you all to chose.

"Romance"
"Summers Day"
I love the Summers Day moodboard and inspired by the lady picture, I made a Prima Bloom Girl Canvas.

Using Primsmacolor pencils, I colored the girl and layered the hair. Left 4 butterflies wings white and add glitter glue. Colored only one butterfly. Could not help adding some blue.

For the canvas background, I spread texture paste over 2 stencils to build a "garden" look. Then mist over it and stamped some swirls with brown archival inkpad. I pop up the Prima girl with foam tape, added some flower paper cut outs behind and added Prima flowers.
